Cheyenne Snow Owl

I live a few miles from Cheyenne Bottoms,in central Kansas, a wetland that is home to thousands of resident wildfowl and a stopover for thousands more migratory birds. On occasion we even get a siting of the odd snow owl. My mother and I spent the best part of a day looking for this guy and it was a real thrill to see how excited she was to see one. If you ever want to add a particular bird to your bird watching list I highly recommend making the trip to Great Bend, Kansas and Cheyenne Bottoms. But until then I would love to cast you my bronze version of this magnificent bird.
