Josephs Contemplation

A relief sculpture in limestone. Approximately 24 inches wide, 18 inches tall, and 4 inches thick. This composition represents the young Mary, the infant child, Jesus, and Joseph. As the young Mary basks in the warmth of her new motherhood, the more mature Joseph meditates on the what the future will be for his small family and the responsibility he has undertaken to raise this child as his son and to teach him to be a man.
